Tiny Homes Grant
Project Description:
The project will construct up to five homes. The proposed project will be a kit from an Alaskan company that includes the foundation, exterior, and interior package with insulation and ventilation appropriate for Iliamna. Homes will be assembled locally using a local crew. The tiny homes can be used as a temporary emergency shelter to minimize risk of community spread, used to expand the capacity of the clinic to accommodate isolation of patients during recovery, provide a place for vaccine-related activities as needed and reducing overcrowded homes. The project will help the village prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Public comments on the project are being solicited using a webform to minimize COVID-19 exposure risk. Please provide comments and input using the form below.
